Web Design
Training Session Website design means planning, creation and updating of websites. Website design also involves information architecture, website structure, user interface, navigation ergonomics, website layout, colours, contrasts, fonts and imagery (photography) as well as icons design.
Course Objectives :
• You will gain the skills and project-based experience needed for entry into web design and development careers.
• You will be able to use a variety of strategies and tools to create websites.
• You will develop awareness and appreciation of the many ways that people access the web, and will be able to create standards-based websites that can be accessed by the full spectrum of web access
technologies.
Course Tools :
HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage and Netscape Composer.
Modules :
• Designing and Planning Web Pages
• Creating Web Pages (HTML)
• Formatting Web Pages (CSS)
• Graphics (Adobe PS & Illustrator)
• Overall Site Design and Management (HTML, CSS, Adobe PS & Illustrator)
• Introduction to Web Authoring Software (Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft FrontPage and Netscape Composer)
• Culminating Project(s)
Course Duration :
3 months. Classes are typically held 2 hours a day 3 days a week.
